Plum flavors pop through on the palate, a conventional flavor profile of classic Merlot. Black cherry, hints of violets with an elegant texture.
The wine is ready to drink now, but will drink well through 2020. Neutral oak is used to impart structure yet retain approachable and soft tannins. Food Pairing: The wine pairs well with a wide array of foods. Try it with pâtés or other charcuterie, pork or veal roasts, rich, cheesy gratins and even hamburgers.
