It is aged for 12 months in bourbon barrels, then the same liquid is transferred to sherry barrels for an additional 6 months, and finally finished in French oak barrels previously used for red wine, specifically pinot noir, for another 6 months. Color: Dark amber hue with hints of chocolate, copper and gold. Tasting notes: Robust aroma, woody, dried and red fruits, tobacco, and nuts.
